Review

I met Tamu many years ago at a domestic violence conference and I instantly knew I needed to learn more from her. I always took her trainings and respected the work she did throughout her many capacities in the field. Once I wanted to deepen my journey towards allyship, I knew I wanted to work with Tamu. Tamu graciously and patiently worked with our team of private practitioners and trauma focused yoga teachers. She has opened up deeper conversations with staff, families and yoga students. We have also been taught how to listen better and understand intent vs impact much more. Our critical thinking has been deepened to a level we could never have imagined. We are so thankful that she will continue to train us monthly. Working with Tamu has been one of the best investments I could have made for our trauma informed private practice and yoga studio.

Tamu is a skilled and thoughtful yoga teacher. She brings you through a flow that touches the mind, body and spirit. Tamu shares not only the fundamentals, but also brings you to advanced poses to help you grow. I highly recommend Tamu as a wonderful yoga teacher!
